Wondering what to try here.. this afternoon on watermate mini both zone valves turned on even though it doesn't register in the app as a watering taking place. Must have turned on some time before 17:11. Around 17:30 ish tried turning off the unit and restarting thinking it might switch the valves off, but no. I've now also tried manual watering button to force the valves on/off, but no luck.
Had to switch off the water main as the watering had been going on full blast for a good half hour in there.
Not sure what to try, is it an issue with the valves, or software?
I see an update around 16:18, could that be it?

Hi LLf - your device data looks like you have the correct configuration for the black latching valves. Could you turn it back on and try watering for 10 seconds? On both zones. If the water turns OFF for ten seconds then it looks like you may have inverted wiring.
When the box boots, it attempts to turn off both the valves ( in case it crashed while watering ). The new firmware version ( 2025042900 ) includes a fix for a similar issue, where in some cases, valves were not fully turning off and letting a dribble come through.
Thanks Chris for the prompt reply. Looks like I have inverted wiring as it turns off if I hit manual watering with the water back on, as you say. The unit has been working fine for weeks and nothing's changed wiring wise to justify this sudden change this afternoon. I looked at the wiring going to the pump, it's connected the only way it can go with the notch aligned correctly.
Hi Louis
If you could possibly send the control unit and valves back to us, we'll check and remedy this for you and return it on a 24hr service. I note you mention "wiring to the pump" but you also talk about mains water; I guess you mean "wiring to the valves".

Turned the unit off then on again and no change.

Yes, I did mean wiring to valves, thanks.
Guessing this is where I should ship it to?
