We have removed the "water now" feature from the web app, it is now only available on the device control panel - the web page you can access when you are on the same network as your control unit.
Over the last few months we've received more reports of certain home routers and networks not being reliable enough to use the green "water now" buttons in the app, whereas the device control button manual watering buttons always work.
Functionality is the same - you just access it a different way. Click the black "open device control panel" button in the watering tab of your location settings, then choose the watering zone you want to override.
Hi Chris, I’m away currently and had set up watering schedules but looked at all the seedlings and herbs in the green house via a blink camera I have in there and because of the hot weather they are thirsty! I have tried to do the water now but as I’m not on the same network as the green house I can’t get in to the control panel. If I understand the post above correctly does this mean I can’t do a water now if I am away from home? Thanks
Hi Jen - you're right, you can't "water now" remotely, what I would suggest is tweaking your regular watering settings for a day or two to give them more water. Set it to water in an hours time, hopefully the plants won't mind waiting a few minutes ...
