This release rolls in a fair few upgrades from the last few weeks. Thank you to all our testers and feedback which helps us keep improving our products.
- Low water pump alarm now gives the system 10 seconds to prime any air out before it monitors back pressure [previously 3 seconds]. We have found that the mini pump, particularly when fitted to an S24 mini greenhouse, can take some time until it pumps just water. Bear in mind that if you are watering for 10 seconds or less, you will never trigger the low water alarm. Also be aware that a blocked filter or other blockage will cause the mini pump to spin without back pressure and the pro pump to lock out ... both of which will also cause the low water alarm. You could therefore consider the alarm as a general "pumping issue". Those of you that have received false alerts ... thanks for your perserverance on this, we hope to have reached a point where the system should send minimal false alerts now.
- Connecting to WiFi for the first time is now a simpler process with a pick list of found WiFi networks, and their strength.
- Sometimes, a control unit will change by itself from online mode to offline mode. We have identified a potential cause for this and released a patch.
- Turning heating / lights on and off via the device control panel is now a smarter toggle switch
- Improvements to the pairing process for wireless devices, and preparation for working with smart wireless tap timers.
Hi Chris, when will this be rolled out please? Just seen that this may resolve a problem I have. I've received an alert of no water, but both butts are full to the brim.
