Battery low

It's saying the battery is too low to pump, but it's half full?
Is there something wrong?

Hi - looking at your battery data, it's not reached full charge recently ( which is >= 16.4V ). I see it has done in the past ( battery is full when the yellow solar line breaks free above 18V ), and then you had a very intense pumping day on the 12th May, from which it's not yet fully recovered. I would see if you can put the panel in a better position, as it should recover from a flat battery within one day of full sun.

I've also updated your firmware to our latest beta, which gets another 10% usage from the battery. That will help. You will need to power off/on twice to get the temperature sensor discovered [a bug we are working on before general release of this firmware]

The panel is in full sun... I'm not sure how it could be in a better position

Could there be a problem with the battery?

The weird thing is it's not pumped any water today

When your box updates to the latest {2024050200} we will have another data point to check the health of the battery, called the ISR. I'll check that for yours later today.

You have a 10W panel I assume?

Yes I got the bigger panel as I have to pump quite a bit in my greenhouse

I'll try and get it restarted now. I just turn it on and off manually?

This battery icon hasn't moved since yesterday afternoon. Usually it's green by now

The battery icon is an estimate, it only has 3 levels so it's not the best indication of charge. Checking your ISR it's good at around 0.2 ( above 0.3 is an old battery ). Next time you have full sun, can you go to the battery info page on the device control panel? You should be seeing nearly 1 amp ( 1000mA ) of charge current. Screen shot that and attach here if that's OK - like this one. The battery is full on my demo box so the charge has stopped. Solar voltage is above 20V which also indicates charging has stopped.

This is in full sun right now... Not entirely sure what all this means tbh

note it did water earlier, so something has recovered...

Yes, it all looks healthy from that screen shot. I suspect the new firmware has given you more watering capacity. Win!
