The submersible pump runs for approx 2 seconds before stopping. Water is dispensed through the drippers and spray nozzles. I've tried a back pressure reset and recalibration with limited success. With the pump removed from the water butt, it ran for 10 seconds, when submerged the pump would initially operate for 10 secs and then reverted back to 2 secs.
The same results observed with irrigation connected and disconnected. Nozzles and drippers have been cleaned.
Is the control unit sensing a higher operating current from the pump and shutting it down?
The submersible pump was replaced in Sept 2023 due to blowing the fuse.
I'm using a solar control unit in offline mode due to location. Solar panel volts are 20v and battery is 16v. The power side looks ok.
Hi David
Yes, this is likely "sensing a higher operating current from the pump and shutting it down"
Newer fuses should be able to deal with it, so I recommend turning of "pump fault shutdown" in the settings on Device Control Panel.
