Hi,
My unit has stopped working completely. I have made sure the solar panel is clear and given it nearly 48 hrs to charge. Tried switching on and off. I get no flashing ligh or beeps of any description. It runs in offline mode normally.
What else can I try or does it need replacing. I have had it 2-3 months.
Help please

Hi Nikki,
Are you saying its "set" to run in "Offline mode" or it still runs okay in offline mode?
What I would suggest is remove all cables from unit "Except" the solar panel feed, leave it charging until tomorrow afternoon, then try switching it off and on again, if it manage to turn on, check battery is in the green, if not, would leave it charging longer before reconnecting pump & solenoid valve back in.
Hi,
I tried the suggestions from Paul, still not working. I have a 10w dolor panel, in a position to catch full sun.l can't do
Anything via the Internet as box has no power
Nearest ID I can find is on the back of the box and is 14E09F0A8AB4 and 1430s. It is a watermate mini.
Hi Nickki,
There’s not much you can check without power to the control unit, have you checked all the connections from the solar panel are tight and there isn't any damage to the cable, you really need to check the solar panel is charging to eliminate it, but without some form of test meter or test light it's not easy.
Hi Nikki,
Just found this in a search: FAQ : No beeps or lights when turning on
Solar powered
If there is no light flashing on top and no sound, it’s probable the battery is dead. Ensure the solar panel is in good sun and well connected. A full day of sunshine will charge the battery sufficiently to turn the control unit on. Alternatively, you can buy a wall charger to bring the battery to full charge in the house.
If after a full day of sun you still get no response from the control unit, it's possible that the fuse has blown. Get in touch with us by email ( hello@link ) and we will replace or repair if under warranty
Hi guys, I am having the same issues as Nikki. Previously( in June ) the box issued a low charge alarm so we switched everything off to allow the solar panel to fully charge ( we'd had all that rain for weeks! ) When I came to check my greenhouse this week the control panel was dead, so I switched everything off for 48hr but today still no activity from the box?
Can the battery have stopped working? How long should I expect the battery to last? This is the first season I have used the water mate
Hi Shaz,
Don't know if your pump is a mini or pro, but some of the mini pumps are blowning the internal fuse, this can make the control unit appear dead, see link, link
You could also try using the search at the botton of the page typing in "fuse" or "dead" in the bar and click "posts" after the results.

Is the weather sunny or cloudy?
Are you using the 5 or 10 Watt Solar panel?

I think this might be one for Chris at Harvst.
