Hi,

Just starting getting this alert, had it 3 times. The tank is full and the pump is working. Any ideas anyone?

I have just had exactly the same thing. I’m just installing the system so not got all my pipes in place yet but testing with one sprayer and one fogger was fine. Today alarm and emails

Hi both - could you run through the calibration process, and let me know how it goes after that. See here: link

Hi Chris
I cannot find the back pressure calibration button referred to in the link. My dashboard settings page looks like the attached photo. The back pressure figures are 2000/100 but no cal button. Am I missing something?

I have resorted to turning off the alarm on both zones and turned off alerts which has cured the problem but unfortunately reduced the functionality of the Watermate

Hi Gordon - it looks like the button text on your dashboard just says "reset" - the "reset back pressure" is lost under the button on the small screen.

Hiya Chris, please help, my last reading is saying Jun 2022 - not sure what I need to do if I’m honest, I wondered why it wasn’t responding. Lol.

Hello Chris
I’ve run the back pressure calibration several times without success. Still alarms when pumping. The back pressure readings are 1568/3427. Is this in the right ballpark? Tried bleeding the air from the system too. Do you think the pressure sensor is faulty?

Hi Gordon - those figures look fine, leave it with me for a while and I'll keep investigating.
Leah - Your control unit is on the latest firmware, can you clarify your question/issue a bit more?

Hi Chris
In case it helps the alarm sounds 3 to 5 seconds after the pump starts. Could it be a pump problem?

Hi GBK, we've made a small change to the firmware which should reduce false alerts. It used to wait for the pump run for 3 seconds to purge air, now it waits for 5 seconds, plus some other internal changes. Would you mind checking yours next time you have a chance?

Hi Chris
I’ve still not had any luck with this. I disconnected the pipe work and attached a 3m ldpe 13mm pipe with one shrubbler. Ran the calibration. Still alarms after 3 to 5 seconds.
The pump seems to be struggling to me as with one shrubbler connected the pump runs for more than half the time as if it’s failing to maintain pressure. For example it runs for 4 clicks stops for about 2 clicks and runs for 4 again.
Is it time to try a new pump?
Regards Gordon
