Low pressure pump

Hey guys. So I'm setting up my water mate pro. I have the main network of pipe going to one across the roof which has 6x 8l/h drippers on. Since installing these drippers, the pump is making a funny noise and the main unit is beeping like it's got low water.

Attached is a couple of videos. one showing the pump powering my sprayers on distribution circuit 1:

and the other powering the main drippers circuit with the issue

As you can see, the pump works fine until it starts filling the drippers in the roof, then it loses power. I assume I need to get these drippers off the main ldpe pipe and put them off 1 x takeoff line perhaps?

Hey Jamangle,

Hope you are well. One of the team has sent you an email about this with some suggestions ( below ), it seems like the pressure switch is activating because there are only a few dippers on the zone:

The clicking sound is the pump hitting its pressure switch, It will do this automatically then comes off it when the pressure drops. As it's doing this it will 'Stop pumping' making the box run the 'low water alarm'. It's fine for the pump to run into the pressure switch, if you wanted to test the theory you could remove one of the drippers so the water comes straight out of the 13mm LDPE and run it, it should either stop hitting the pressure switch or take longer to engage. The pump does sound like it's straining a bit, but I think that is just because it's pumping between a short amount of time between the pressure switch disengaging and re engaging.

Hope that helps - Stacy
