Hi Harvst Team, just been out to the greenhouse and there's a problem!! It seems to be watering for a very long time. I did a button controlled water on zone 2 and manually turned it off well after 30 seconds and it was tough to do. It is also doing a continuous fast beeping ( not the low water beep ) when watering. The trays are all full of water! I can't find what the continuous fast beeping means. I haven't changed anything in a while. It also has stopped sending me messages and the app thinks it 15.5C in there with an old timestamp..... help please! Thank you : )
Hi Jen,
Found this info below in trouble shooting at link
Sound indicators
Fast beep, twice a second
Looking for WiFi network.
Slow beep, once a second
Unit is transmitting “harvst-wifi” and is waiting for you to connect and tell it your home network details.
Long single beep
Unit is booting in offline mode. Once ready, you’ll get a double quick beep.
Unit beeps high/low/high/low like a siren.
This is the low water alarm. The system is trying to water but either pump is not connected, or it’s pumping air. Sometimes the water pump needs priming after installation; give it a shake and it should start pulling water. Note that you have to have the water valves wired to the control unit, since they will need to open for water to be pumped through.
Rising tone
Waking up. Wait for the double beep which follows. This indicates the system is ready.
Falling tone ( opposite of waking tone )
Battery is low, going to sleep.
It sounds a bit like its lost the wifi connection if its not updating, I sometimes have to restart my control unit, we used to get a email alert if the app hadn't seen the control recently, but haven't had them for a fair while now so don't know if they have been turned off, I have to keep an eye on the App regularly to check its updating.
Regards Paul
Thanks Paul, I will restart it but I'm still concerned as the watering not stopping and the fast beeping occurred when I initiated watering by pressing the button on the control unit.
Hi all, Problem still happening. Periodically the control unit does single tone fairly rapid beeping for some time. I've turned off auto watering as plants were getting soaked. I pushed the button on the control unit for both zone one and zone two and they watered for well over 30 seconds. Controller has been rebooted a number of times. Help please! thank you.
Hi Jen,
thank you for bringing this up, it sounds like your control unit is starting its water whilst trying to update at the same time. I have changed your firmware which should hopefully fix this issue, if you would be able to test it again and let us know how it goes that would be great. How close to your Wi-Fi connection is it?
It looks like your air temp sensor is updating on the graph, is it not updating on the control panel? If you could send us an email with a video of what is happening to hello@link that would help narrow down the issue.
Thanks, Theo
