Hi Joan, Here are a few things to try but perhaps one of the team could call you tomorrow if that works better for you?

1 ) Make sure you are connected to the Harvst_XXXX wifi and the box is awake. Some phones will automatically jump off this as there is no actual internet on this connection so it might be good to turn off your 4G connection/mobile data on your phone while you are setting it up.

2 ) Once connected to this some phones will take you to the control panel automatically. Some phones will not so open your browser ( ideally Chrome ) and go to http://192.168.4.1 which is the control panel access page. This is where you will configure your device ( wifi/watering times etc ).

There are a couple of videos here for you to follow:

Offline:
Offline mode is used when you don’t have a WiFi network at the control unit location. The control box needs to be configured as offline so that it does not hunt for a WiFi network. You will manage settings using the device control panel and will not need to use the web app.

Online:
Online mode is where you have a WiFi network available at the control unit location. You will configure the control unit so that it knows your home WiFi details, after which it will communicate with the Harvst server via the internet. You will manage settings using the web app. The control unit will collect these settings each time it sends data.

Hope that helps. Many thanks -Stacy ( Harvst Team )

Hi Stacey,
Thanks for your advice. I think I have connected to the wrong Wi-Fi. I have connected to harvst-wifi and not harvst-xxxx, could this be the problem. Also I am not sure how to wake the system up, as it's on solar.
Thanks
Joan

Hi Joan
Provided your control unit is in online mode it should receive updates automatically yes.
Feel free to email if you're having problems connecting.

The system has been on 24 hours a day for several days but as far as I can see the firmware has not updated. I am quite anxious to try the new features detailed in the latest firmware information,

It's sitting on Firmware 2021092001
Thanks
Joan

Hey Joan,

We are working on updating your box at the moment, should be done in a few hours so if you could continue to leave it on that would be great. Sometimes if a box has been run in offline mode for a long period of time and is therefore a few versions behind it can need a little extra attention when updating!

Many thanks -Stacy ( Harvst Team )
