any ideas on why i cant seem to connect to the harvst-wifi on my new mini watering system. I have tried the url quoted and got nothing from thar.

I think that it has connected now, as I am getting some data now, so presume that means it is connected.

Hi, I've tried several times to connect the unit, it sees my phone but won't connect to home WiFi . It's in the house now, about a metre from the router. I can't use it offline either, it doesn't show temperature or any data. The unit has power and beeps as per the instruction book. I was given this for Christmas & first started trying to connect it a month ago. At the moment it's a very expensive on/off water tap!

Ahah! At last! It has now connected and is showing on the app. Will it work offline in the greenhouse.....?

Hello Chris / team. I appear to have a control unit failure. I have been working away from home for a while and returned to some very crispy crops - it looks like the unit hasn't watered at all since I've been away. I have an able to water normally when accessing the controller directly through WiFi and have been receiving data from the machine so was connected to WiFi, although I rebooted the connection to make sure. I have tried turning off and on again. Still no luck with timed or sensor based watering. Any tips? Used the old fashioned watering can approach to see if I can revive what's in there but be great to get watering system working in this heat

I initially had a similar problem when I set my system up, I had accidental put the same values in the “When moisture below” and “Prevent watering when moisture above” boxes, which cancels / confused the control unit, reset to the correct values and it worked fine.
I have also had problems over the past few weeks on hot days where the solar panel can't keep the battery level in the green due to regular high temperature watering, ( had to turn off watering / unplug the pump until the battery recharged into the green ( can't remember if I rebooted the control unit or not ) have just upgraded to the 10watt solar panel, but still waiting for the results

Thanks Paul. Looks like my settings are ok but I've turned off all sensory based watering to see if the time based one kicks in and I'll go from there. Good luck with the 10W panel, mine recharges the battery very quickly indeed

Hi David,
Is this a new install or a previous running system? if previous running, are the start up sounds correct when turning the control unit on, ( search for “error” in chat search bar if unsure of the sound error codes ) ( dated 13th August )
